Cody J. Foster is a Ph.D. Candidate (ABD) at the University of Kentucky where he studies U.S. History and America in the World. His research focuses on transnational non-state activism, peace studies, and the global human rights movement. He has contributed articles to the Journal of the Historical Society, Essays in History, and Passport and he's written think pieces for The New York Times, The Huffington Post, History News Network, Counterpunch, and The Lexington-Herald Leader. His research has also been featured in The USA Today, The New York Times, The Courier-Journal, and several other international newspapers, T.V. programs, and documentaries.
